Every day we hear about people doing shit like this and we love to see it and it fills us with joy and momentarily restores our faith in humanity, but at the same time we hate that people HAVE to do shit like this, which once again makes us wonder if the world wouldn’t be better off getting hit with another dinosaur-extinction-level asteroid.
I guess this is just the world we live in now. Happy Thanksgiving Eve, y’all.

Aint Pancakes – Love Your Neighbors (Philip K. Discs, 15 November 2025)
From the Philip K. Discs Bandcamp page:
At the time of the release of this EP, ICE is descending upon the city of Charlotte, NC. This place has been my home for over a decade and I love it and the people here dearly. I lament on a daily basis the dehumanization of this organization and the ways in which it routinely tramples on the rights and dignity of the people they target, whether here at home, L.A., Chicago…wherever they rear their head of hatred.
I offer this live, improvised-in-my-garage Aint Pancakes set as a gift for anyone who will donate to Carolina Migrant Network.
Their main mission is: “to provide legal services for individuals in removal proceedings. We provide legal education on the US immigration System and empower immigrant communities to participate in everyday and civic life. We envision a world of empowered, self-determined, organized communities free from fear of family separation.”
Please feel free to give directly to CMN and then grab a free download of this EP. Alternately, if you choose to pay something for it, rest assured that I will be donating any and all sales to CMN as well.
Thank you. Let us love our neighbors, all of them, wherever they may be in need.
Not sure there’s too much to add here — like much of the PKD catalog, the nineteen-and-a-half minute track that comprises “Love Your Neighbors” is a bizarre blend of otherworldly, mostly-atonal noise, as bleak and frightening as the atmosphere in which it was produced, occasionally incorporating metaphoric samples of disaster alerts amongst its percussive blips and bloops.
Grab a copy via Bandcamp (see below) for any amount you’d like to pay, with the knowledge that those funds will go towards human beings who are just trying to survive in the face of a government-sanctioned squad whose only reason for existing appears to be to terrorize those people, making our country safer for exactly no one.
