The godfathers of vitriolic sludge metal, Eyehategod and up-and-coming apocalyptic punk-metal crew Enabler have each just released a brand new album this past Tuesday (27 May). The former put together a self-titled effort, their first LP since Confederacy of Ruined Lives came out fourteen years ago(!); the new release is available through Housecore Records. The latter have dropped their second full-length, La Fin Absolue Du Monde via the Earsplit Compound‘s new The Compound imprint.

Full reviews of both albums are on their way soon, but in the meantime I wanted to pass along information about the tour both bands are conducting all over America, running through the end of June. In addition, the filth-ridden metal/hardcore band Ringworm are along for the ride, as well as assorted local supporting acts.
